Axial elongation calculator

This calculator assumes that the focusing power of your lens and cornea is simply combined into one lens. So, the results are bound to always be approximate.
For values other than that measured by a LASER interferometer, use the second calculator instead. The first calculator should yield more accurate results because it's starting from previously known physical interferometer data.

Enter your current Prescription WITHOUT any sign (in Dioptre):

1. Enter elongated axial distance in mm (Usually given by LASER interferometers):

Emmetropic retinal distance will be mm.
Your axial elongation is mm.

2. Enter The emmetropic axial distance in mm (This will be assumed as relaxed focal length for infinity):

Retinal distance will be mm.
Your axial elongation is mm.
